Camino 2019 Day 3 – 01.04.2019

After a wonderful meal with my Warmshowers hosts, Alexandre & Cathy, I had a good night’s sleep. I went out to try my gears after breakfast and they were fine (thanks Alex), so on Alex & Cathy’s recommendation I went up to the old town and cathedral, only to find that the cathedral didn’t open till 10. I managed to get my passport stamped at the tourist office, which didn’t officially open till 10 either, then shopped for my lunch, which was a good job, as there was no shop for hours! This meant it was nearly 10 by the time I got away.
Today was very difficult – lots of ups and downs. Fortunately my gears worked okay, but it was a long day with a lot of pushing. I M now in Luc Amau.
